Types of Post Bollards
Post bollards are an essential element of protection in industrial halls and warehouses. They are available in three heights: low (30 cm), medium (70 cm), and high (100–110 cm). The appropriate variant should be selected based on the characteristics of the location and the type of mechanical hazards. Another important parameter is the diameter of the steel pipe. Models with diameters of 48.3 mm, 76.1 mm, 108 mm, and 159 mm offer various levels of impact resistance, allowing the protection to be tailored to specific needs.
The durability of the bollards depends on wall thickness, steel grade, and manufacturing technology. Proper design ensures that each bollard is resistant to mechanical damage and harsh environmental conditions. We offer two finishing variants. The first is powder coating – standard in yellow RAL 1003 with black reflective tape. Embedded or Bolted Post Bollards?
If maximum stability and impact resistance are a priority, embedding bollards into the ground is a better solution. This ensures durability, which is crucial in high-traffic areas. However, it requires proper preparation – the foundation should be at least 30 cm deep, and concrete class C20/25 or higher should be used.
If you need more flexibility, mounting on the surface by bolting is a good choice. In this case, the bollards are fixed using mechanical or chemical anchors, adapted to the surface type. This solution is ideal where the spatial layout may change.
Industrial bollards for embedding are best suited for areas requiring permanent protection, such as loading ramps or production zones. Bolted models, on the other hand, are more functional in warehouses where frequent space reorganizations require a flexible approach.
The choice of mounting method depends on the conditions and needs of the facility.
