How Do Amortichoc Rebound Bollards Work?
The Amortichoc spring mechanism, enclosed within a steel tube, allows the bollard to quickly return to an upright position after being deflected. The internal spring absorbs the impact energy and then restores the bollard to its original shape, returning it to place without the need for manual intervention. This system is highly resistant to mechanical damage. As a result, the bollards maintain their functionality even after strong vehicle impacts, significantly reducing maintenance and replacement costs.
We use galvanized steel in their production, further protected with a powder coating. This finish ensures long-lasting anti-corrosion protection under adverse weather conditions. The square model, with an 80×80 mm profile, introduces a modern accent. Its geometric shape complements contemporary urban structures. It performs well in plazas, near modern office buildings, and in open spaces with an orderly urban layout. Versions with reflective tape enhance visibility at night and in low-light conditions. They are used in car parks, near bike paths, and at service entrances. Each model is available in options for embedding into concrete or mounting with a base plate. This flexibility allows the installation method to be matched to the type of surface — ranging from asphalt to paving stones.
