What is Weldmesh Mesh?
Weldmesh mesh is a modern solution created from spot-welded steel wire. This results in a rigid and durable grid. Unlike woven meshes, welded Weldmesh panels offer an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Additionally, they are easy to work with—they can be effortlessly cut, shaped, and joined with other structural materials.
The meshes are available in several variants—differing in both wire diameters and mesh sizes. Square mesh openings are most commonly used, as they ensure even load distribution. The range of mesh sizes starts from 25 x 25 mm and goes up to 150 x 150 mm, while wire diameters range from 3 to 6 mm. This variety allows for the selection of a suitable version tailored to the specifics of any given project.
Weldmesh panels come in standard sizes from 1000 x 2000 mm to 2000 x 3000 mm, though custom sheet formats are also available. The meshes can be galvanized using various methods—from electro-galvanizing to hot-dip galvanizing or ZnAl coatings. Premium versions are also available in stainless steel. Each of these options provides effective corrosion protection suited to specific environmental conditions.
